Updating the market with CFO Jack Kelly

Good Morning Team.

Today I sat down with Jack Kelly, CFO at European Green Transition, to unpack the company’s latest trading update.

We dig into how the H1 numbers stack up against the trajectory flagged back at Q2, what’s driving the strength within Wind Energy Services, and the £17-18 million full-year guidance. Jack also reflects on the company’s several months of ownership under the new structure and what that time has revealed about the underlying quality of the business.

We then turn to the repowering pipeline, exploring how industry conferences and Royal Shows are feeding new business alongside EGT’s existing 900-turbine client base.

Jack talks me through the move in the orderbook from 55 to 65 Heads of Terms, the jump in completions, and what’s needed operationally to keep that pace through H2.

We also cover the cash-in-advance dynamic from project deposits, and how long it might take to convert a meaningful slice of the £126 million opportunity across 280 qualified prospects into signed deals.

Anemos gets its own segment, with Jack discussing the platform’s growth to 133 contracted turbines and 79% EGT ownership, the ambitions beyond wind, and whether condition monitoring work is opening doors to bigger repowering conversations with the same customers.

From there we move to the balance sheet, where EGT’s debt-free position post-raise sets up the disciplined bolt-on M&A strategy, and we get an update on timing for that first dividend payment.

We close out with the bigger picture — benchmarking EGT’s progress against Renew Holdings, the latest on realising value from Olserum and Pajala, and how the competitive landscape looks over the next 12 months given supportive policy and rising planning approvals.

Jack finishes by pointing to what he sees as the clearest proof point that the £50 million medium-term target is within reach.

Tune in!
