It’s well written articles like these that make me resent the AI written ones even more.

A lovely and thoroughly entertaining read, thanks Charles!

This article does make me re-consider the relative merits of having young children vs grown up ones. Despite having two "off the payroll" so to speak, like boomerangs they still seem to consider the "Bank of Mum & Dad" available for robbery at gunpoint whenever they see fit. I conclude that there is no "lesser of two evils" option as we will inevitably love and tolerate them always, otherwise what's the point, eh?!

Off the payroll at age 33, as Tolkien thought adulthood began :)

We visited last year for the first time.

My enduring memory was watching a family member overcome with emotion, in tears, waving goodbye to Mickey Mouse at the end of the second night.

This year we all went back to celebrate the same family members 50th birthday.

She’s just a big wean (kid for the non Scottish).

It is a magical place, as long as you go well funded :)

Any thoughts on TERA Charles?

Brilliant and funny Charles, please more articles like this as well as your AIM write-ups. Whenever I see a purple fruit-shoot in future I'll think of the effort you went for your son.

Excellent Charles. I live half way between Exeter and Bristol and would love it if Exeter airport offered a greater selection of flight destinations. I’m a convert to le shuttle as I love driving in France. Yes Disney do seem to drag every last penny out of you, but magical all the same.

Covid seemed to kill a lot of the routes but for many flights the increased convenience is worth the cost :)
