An additional Venezuela related idea for you to search on. I am attracted to Venezuelan stories thanks to Swen Lorenz witings. From the arbitration sphere till today Russoro Mining is my best ever to catch with 20x bagging, thus following all VZ news closely. Assuming you believe or give a high likelihood that the US will guard the transition and it wont turn back Gold Reserve may be a really intersting stock. Although the Citgo auction in the US is still pending and an object of appeals, and the banks account seizure process in Portugal also ongoing, one of the most obvious beneficial of the transition may be this company. VZ plans to go through the largest ever restructuring with 170bn debt. But commercial claims stem from arbitration awards has advantages. With a potential large oil (and gold and other sort of) revenue flows in the near future, sources to settle and pay these claims will be given. Besides GRZ already returned to VZ aligned with US government officials, thus may be the main beneficiaries of the mining law reforms. Its Siembra Minera gold mine project had one of the largest undeveloped gold deposit the world. Not a coincidence they made an earn in agreement with Augusta and Richard Warke. And above these their 7 bn arbitration is still going in paralel, although they will separate the mine interests from the arbitrations soon into an entity called American Heralds Mining Corp.
So here is a great transition of a country, arbitrations in the billions, some of that already won and in the last assets seizure/settlement/payment period, and a part ownership in a pontentially world class giant gold mine project, US gov backing, cooperation with a gold mine legend, and a spin off story.
I am really grateful to Swen to introduce me into this sphere.

Now trading around 180p. So those who took part in the fundraising have made an 18x multiple so far. Hard to know what this thing is worth. But with capital raised at about 5% of the current price and a load of similarly priced options out there, I am going to adopt a watching brief.

The company has rebranded -n that was the shell. It'll be VZLA as of market open but HL may take a while top update.
