Great write up Charles . I’ve been tweeting on this one since the placing . Can you tell me please what stock /s nearly made it as your top pick for 2026 ? If you hadn’t have gone for AFC ?

There's a few to consider - Amaroq for US government support/gold production ramp-up, Sovereign Metals for the DFS and inevitable buyout from a major, Defence Holdings as their team start to deliver contracts...there's another dozen I could name.

However, the key point is that you're looking for the ground floor on the share price - AFC has (had!) this, the others have all seen rises.

Charles, Defence Holdings well down over last month- are you still expecting positive news this month.

It's a growth stock - it's going to be highly volatile (both up and down). Company has said commercialisation starting this month and have not updated this view. We shall see.

Have taken a 50% position today and will monitor progress

It is a risk play - in my view deserves a good spot in the portfolio (but remember diversification and risk management are important)

Plenty of short therm cash, credible partners, technology that seems world beating…..certainly well worth a go…especially with share price still anchored to placing level…..have recycled some ITM power profits in.

Thanks for a most informative, detailed and persuasive analysis.

You really ought to write up a bear case on these big ones, not just a it could go to zero

I didn't say it would go to zero, but it is asymmetric.
